Milton a Ball and Chain Day

Saturday was the much anticipated (?) West Milton Triathlon. For a small town race, it offers bragging rights for a year. Goose took Friday off to just have fun. He wasn't really himself all day - just didn't feel well. Well, you guessed it, Saturday he definately was not himself. He was racing with Patrick from Tipp Cyclery and really wanted to do well. River was extremely low, he made it through the run and bike portion. There was a delay in start times, they couldn't get the canoes back quick enough to keep on schedule- they decided not to hold the awards. All night Jeff kept asking are the results up yet, Sunday same thing. I knew they wouldn't be - I thought Jeff Coudron was racing on Sunday and wouldn't work on the results. Today, Monday, expecting the bad news, knowing that Jeff was not himself and raced with 2 partners (Patrick and Flu), he called at lunch time. Results were in (no splits yet) - boy am I glad I was sitting down - THEY CAME IN 2nd OVERALL YEAH!!!!!!! Thanks Patrick! You did a great job with the old guy!

They held the children's fun run - AJ was tripped by another little guy, Andrew (his daddy) picked him up and AJ's legs were still moving. He was able to take off and actually pass kids. He just didn't understand where his bike was - it was now time to ride (lol). He is our little triathlete in training!
