Complete Cast of Character Day

Not really sure where to begin! Jeff and I were invited to Wade Westfall's house on Saturday night. What a wonderful evening spent with Speedy Feet racers and owners. We did get home a little later than planned, which made getting a good night sleep run a tad short. No worries (I think).

Sunday morning came a little early, but both of us up and ready to roll. When we got there we saw Egg, Rhino and T-Bolt on their trainers warming up. Big Tim was changing, and there was a new face - which turned out to be Chris Sloan. I have seen his name on TT, but never met him - what a nice guy (and he is even racing with Rhino!) The starting line up was settled and everyone headed out in 1 minute increments. Bottom line - Egg rode his jewels off today with a 51 second win over Rhino. Rhino got 2nd, Chris 3rd, Big (Machine) Tim 4th, Junk Yard T-Bolt 5th with the old guy (that keeps asking me a question tonight) 6th. Tim and Chris couldn't stick around for the second loop, so the others headed out. Now it was my turn, I asked everybody about the course being flat, just got yeps. NOT. Well, Egg did just smile.

When I was first done, no I didn't have fun, but not yes I will admit I had fun - definite character builder, but fun. My goal was for those guys not to pass me. I had already decided to cut 4 miles off the course, but I had forgot my water bottle, had to go back, so I further altered my route. Once again, I didn't what to hear the loved whoosh of their wheels behind me. Little did I know they also cut 2 miles off their route.

Afterward Egg, T-Bolt, Jeff and I headed out for lunch. What a hoot. You can always count on many laughs from Egg and T-Bolt!

Classic Fundication

Short one again tonight. Good ride today for Noose. Noose and Goose at AJ's soccer game (after Goose had a good recover run) Then to Classic for vittles. Egg joined us after he and Big Tim rode from Miami East.

Egg, Goose and I had been checking all day for the results of Piqua Triathlon. Nothing ALL day - Egg checked while eating (glad he has one of those new modern phones :) and Goose and Joe won. YEAH!!!!! Thanks again to Egg for getting up early after a gig the night before and supporting Goose.

Haven't Blogged in a while!

Only this I will say tonight - Goose had a blast and said he rode really well. Yeah!!!!
