It has been a long time since posting. Lots of things happening in our life, many new paths paved. After all the years of racing and training, Jeff will be taking a little time off from competing. We have undertaken a massive project with our kitchen. We are looking at 6 weeks with an unusable kitchen. Will it be worth it - yes. I will miss cooking (but not cleaning).
We start with the electric being upgraded on Friday. All day with no power - but worth it. Learning that the circuits we have can malfunction and a possible fire is worth the day with no power.
Monday morning they show up to take the room down to the studs and base floor. New cabinets, lighting and hardwood floors will be great when it is done - a mess until then.
Our next project after the kitchen? Large garage addition for Jeff's man cave :-)
Training wise, Jeff will be working with AJ on his triathlons this summer. Kick ass bike for his birthday, back in the pool for swimming and a running club this summer - AJ should be ready to win a few medals!

Good luck to AJ - he has a great trainer. Will miss your cooking and company while the kitchen gets a make over. Hope to see you and Jeff out on the bike this summer. I know it has been a couple of years away from the drama of the puppet master. It has to be a new lease on life. I also know it was a tough break for you both, but "let him go".
